Can I start my dog today?
Not yet — petpides is in prelaunch. We're building the veterinary network and pharmacy partnerships properly before we open, so today the site offers the education library and a waitlist. Join it and you'll be among the first we email when a licensed vet can review dogs in your state. Nothing is charged before then.
Are peptides safe for dogs?
Peptides are used under veterinary supervision, and the protocols petpides will offer are prescription-only after a licensed vet reviews the dog's file. Research in dogs is still early, so no outcome is guaranteed. They are not prescribed for pregnant or nursing dogs, dogs with active cancer, or dogs under two, and every batch we ship will be third-party tested for purity and endotoxins.
Do I need a prescription and a vet visit?
You'll need a prescription, and it will come from a telehealth review — not an in-person visit. A licensed veterinarian in your state reads the intake you submit, asks any follow-up questions, and prescribes a weight-based dose only if a peptide protocol is appropriate for your dog.
How much will it cost?
Protocols are planned at $79 to $109 per month depending on the peptide, with free shipping. The price will be flat year-round — no introductory rates and no auto-escalating quantities. If the vet declines your dog, you are charged nothing.
How long until I see a difference?
In the limited canine data, owners who noticed a change reported it between roughly week three and week six. Some dogs do not respond at all. Your vet will schedule a check-in around week four and tell you plainly which group your dog is in.
Which peptide is right for my dog?
That is the vet's call, made from your dog's file — not a menu choice. Mobility (BPC-157) is for stiffness and stairs, Recovery (TB-4) is for post-surgical rehab, and Skin & Coat (GHK-Cu) is for thinning coats and slow-healing skin. The two-minute match quiz routes the file to the right review.
Can my dog stay on his current joint supplement or NSAID?
Usually yes, but the reviewing vet confirms it against his file, which is why the intake asks for every current medication. Do not change an existing prescription on your own.
Will petpides be available in my state?
Veterinary telehealth is licensed state by state. We're building launch coverage for twelve states including Texas, California, Florida, and New York — no state is live yet. Enter your state when you join the waitlist and we'll tell you honestly when a licensed vet can review dogs there.
